Harry Clark has spoken publicly for the first time since being removed from Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins for cheating. The former army serviceman, best known for appearing on The Traitors, admitted he "hated" his time on the Channel 4 show and felt the directing staff "didn't like" him.
The 24-year-old was caught by instructors Billy Billingham and Jason Fox after performing only 10 burpee exercises instead of the required 20. He then lied about the number he had completed. Clark said he was "so disheartened and so annoyed" but initially justified his actions to himself, thinking he had reverted to a military mindset.
Reflecting on the incident, he told The Sun: "I did exactly what I would do in the military. And that's what annoyed me so much because it was like I just hit that switch, but they'd kicked me off for it." However, he later acknowledged the exit may have been for the best, adding: "They've probably done me a favour because I know that the next big stage was the interrogation phase."
His departure from the show follows reports of a "drunken scuffle" with social media star Moe Osman at the Brit Awards in March. A source claimed Clark was "antagonised" by Osman, known online as Hellacreps, and that the clash turned physical, shocking those present.
Clark expressed frustration that he was unable to demonstrate personal growth, saying: "How can I prove to you now that I've changed?" He also admitted the experience made him angry at both the team and himself, as he had "wanted to get better".
