The 27-year-old beauty mogul, who announced her pregnancy in early May, posted on her Instagram Stories on Sunday to promote her Rhode Skin brand's summer tour, which is set to visit Toronto on August 20. The caption read: 'We have a surprise', accompanied by an eyeball and pink bow emoji, leaving fans to wonder if the surprise is more than a product launch.
Hailey revealed in an ABC News interview that she was six months pregnant at the time of the announcement, suggesting a due date in early August. Since then, her social media activity has focused almost exclusively on Rhode, leading fans to suspect posts may be pre-scheduled while she takes time off with a newborn. Justin Bieber has also been quiet on Instagram, with his last post on August 8 featuring a guided prayer video.
Further clues have emerged from Justin's mother, Pattie Mallette. Earlier this month, she shared a Bible verse on X (formerly Twitter) from Matthew 19:26—'With God all things are possible'—alongside selfies of her organising clothes, which fans interpreted as packing for a trip to be with the couple for the birth.
Speculation about the baby's gender also surfaced after Hailey's baby shower at the end of July. A photo of a milk and berry cake prominently featured blueberries, leading one fan to comment: 'Am I the only one thinking the baby is gonna be a boy because of the yellow box that is pointing [at] the blueberry, not the strawberry?'
