Gypsy-Rose Blanchard Shows Off Bikini Body After Weight Loss and Surgery
Gypsy-Rose Blanchard Shows Off Bikini Body After Makeover

Gypsy-Rose Blanchard has unveiled her incredible bikini body following a dramatic makeover that has involved both plastic surgery and major weight loss. The convicted killer-turned-reality star, 34, posed in a bikini top and matching boy shorts alongside her baby daddy Ken Urker in a photo shared to Instagram this week.

Blanchard was all smiles as she showed off her cleavage in the blue swimwear while leaning into Urker's chest. 'Slow moments, warm sun, and the man who makes life beautiful,' she captioned the photo.

Blanchard has lost approximately 35lbs since being released from Chillicothe Correctional Center for second-degree murder in December 2023. Explaining her slimmer look on Instagram back in March, the Life After Lock Up star insisted that she hasn't turned to trendy GLP-1s like Ozempic to lose weight.

'Okay y'all, I'm not gatekeeping. My weight loss came from life circumstances,' she wrote. 'After being released two years ago my lifestyle changed a lot — from commissary junk food to home-cooked meals and trying new foods. I don't follow a workout routine (though I'd love one), I don't limit my diet, and I don't use GLP-1. I wasn't actively trying to lose weight… my whole life just changed and adjusted to freedom.'

In addition to losing weight, Blanchard has also had a nose job and extensive dental work. The jailbird welcomed daughter Aurora Raina Urker in December 2024. Before finding love with Urker, she was in a 20-month marriage to schoolteacher Ryan Scott Anderson.

In 2015, Blanchard gave her online boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn — who had an IQ of 82 — duct tape, gloves, and a knife to stab her physically-abusive mother Clauddine 'Dee Dee' Blanchard 17 times in the back while she slept in her bed. The former couple then stole $4,400 in cash from Dee Dee and mailed the murder weapon back to Godejohn's home in Wisconsin where they fled by bus.

The murder — which they blamed on Dee Dee's undiagnosed Munchausen syndrome by proxy — inspired Hulu's eight-part series The Act and the Lifetime movie Love You to Death, both released in 2019. While Blanchard served eight years of her decade-long sentence, Godejohn is serving a life sentence without parole at Missouri's Potosi Correctional Center plus an additional 25 years for armed criminal action.

Last August, Lifetime canceled the bestselling author's reality show Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up after just two seasons. Addressing the cancellation on social media, Blanchard explained that Lifetime had informed her that the age range of their viewers was above her demographic, which is on the younger side. 'Their main viewers are in their 40s and 50s,' she explained, adding that her own fanbase was primarily between 18-30. 'We were seeing that a lot of the viewers that were interested in watching my story and my life unfold were part of a generation that has streaming. Well, Lifetime is a network based on cable, so most of my fans couldn't even figure out how to watch my show.'

Blanchard — who commands $99 on Cameo — now posts paid partnerships for brands like Bondi Sands Australia, e.l.f. Cosmetics and Avia Leggings. She currently has a huge social media following, with over nine million followers on TikTok alone.
