Gwyneth Paltrow has marked her daughter Apple's 14th birthday by sharing a rare photograph of the teenager on social media. The 45-year-old actress posted a picture of Apple smiling by a pool, with fans noting a strong resemblance to her mother.
In the accompanying caption, Paltrow wrote: "Happy birthday, my darling girl. You make everyday feel like Christmas morning. You are the most vibrant, hilarious, twirling all over the place, beautiful (inside and out) young woman. You are an amazing thinker and an incredible songwriter. Thanks for still hanging out with me, even though you are 14."
Fans were quick to praise the photograph, with one writing: "Such a beautiful mix of you and chris:) happy birthday to all of you!" Apple is Paltrow's daughter with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
The post comes after Paltrow announced her engagement to television producer Brad Falchuk earlier this year. The couple released a joint statement to Good Morning America, saying they felt "incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship."
Paltrow and Falchuk went public with their romance in 2015, when they attended Robert Downey Jr's 50th birthday party together.
