Gorka Marquez has been seen breaking into tears as he was delivered a surprise message from his daughter during the latest episode of his podcast alongside fiancée, Gemma Atkinson.
As fans will recall, the couple met on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2017, where, during the series, Gemma was seen competing alongside professional dancer Aljaz Skorjanec, while Spanish pro Gorka competed alongside singer Alexandra Burke. But romance didn't blossom until after they took part in the Strictly Live tour the following year.
Over the last seven years, the pair has also welcomed their two children - Mia in July 2019 and Thiago in July 2023 - as well as getting engaged in between, with Gorka popping the question on Valentine's Day back in 2021.
And while the couple often share glimpses into their relationship and family life on social media, it was last year that they launched their podcast, Lost in Translation, which explores the couple's day-to-day life, juggling their busy schedules alongside parenting their two young children.
In this week's episode, which comes after it was revealed that the podcast has officially hit one million listeners, Gemma ended up surprising Gorka ahead of Father's Day this Sunday (June 21) with a message from their six-year-old daughter.
It doesn't take long for the professional dancer to be seen wiping away tears as Mia reeled off the top five things about her dad. "Hi Papa. Happy Father's Day. We love you!" she kicked off before describing Gorka as "super", "helpful" and an "amazing dad".
She did throw in a slightly cheekier option, saying he is responsible for the "smelly trumps" in the Atkinson-Marquez household. And Mia also showed her big sister authority as she told Gorka that Thiago would think the same "because he is super" and that he "agrees with everything" she says.
In response, Gorka said as he wiped his eyes: "That's not fair! You should do that at the end, not now." He added: "We love you! Thank you." Sharing the podcast clip on Instagram, the Spanish star wrote: "I am not crying… you are! Listen episode 35 where ever you get your podcast! @lost.in.podcast."
