The Golden Globes will shift from its traditional first weekend in January to the second weekend in 2026, making way for an inaugural Golden Week of festivities leading up to the 83rd annual ceremony on 11 January. Hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser, the event will air on CBS and Paramount+ from the Beverly Hilton.
Anchoring the week is Golden Eve, a CBS primetime special that honours recipients of the Cecil B. DeMille Award and the Carol Burnett Award. This year, Dame Helen Mirren will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award, while Sarah Jessica Parker is set to receive the Carol Burnett Award. The special will be taped and broadcast during the week.
A packed schedule of pre-ceremony gatherings includes The Hollywood Reporter and Spotify's Nominees Night at The Lot at Formosa, Universal Entertainment's celebratory toast at Mother Wolf, and NEON's Golden Globes Celebration at the Sunset Tower Hotel. Earlier in the day, SiriusXM hosts a brunch, followed by The Cut x Golden Globes brunch, the BAFTA Tea Party at The Four Seasons, and an Amazon MGM Studios and Vanity Fair celebration at Bar Marmont.
Following the main ceremony, which begins at 5pm PT, a host of invite-only after-parties are planned. Netflix will host its annual bash at Spago in Beverly Hills, Universal Entertainment holds a post-party at Dante Beverly Hills, and Nikki Glaser teams up with UTA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners for a gathering at the Sunset Tower Hotel.
