Previous Announcement of the Loss
This public farewell came three weeks after Lisa first shared the devastating news of her friend's passing in another emotional post. Alongside a photo of Sally, Lisa revealed her friend had "gained her angel wings" after a long and brave battle.
"Utterly heartbroken... my hilarious friend Sally gained her angel wings this morning," she shared. "No more suffering and free from pain." Lisa fondly recalled their unique sign-off: "everytime I said I love you, her reply was 'love you muchly more'. I’ll never forget that as long as I live." She ended that tribute by sending her thoughts to Sally's family.
The Baggs Family's Gogglebox Journey
Lisa and her husband, Terry, joined the cast of Gogglebox in 2020 alongside their two sons, Joe and George, who are also popular on social media. The family's hilarious and relatable commentary made them instant favourites with viewers.
However, in 2022, the family decided to leave the Channel 4 programme. They cited "work commitments" and "lots of exciting opportunities" as their reason for departing after three beloved seasons. In a statement, they expressed gratitude for the "opportunity of a lifetime."
