Taylor Ryan, an OnlyFans model from Exeter, Devon, has described the moment her relationship with Gladiator Giant, real name Jamie Bigg, came to an end.
The couple met at a Gladiators Live event in Sheffield, where Taylor, a fan of the show, was in attendance. They began dating, and their relationship became so serious that in April Jamie Bigg, 40, quit the programme after reportedly being ordered to dump Taylor or lose his job. TV bosses were said to believe Taylor's work as an online adult content creator clashed with Gladiators' family-friendly image.
"I had to choose between dating Taylor and keeping my job," Jamie told The Sun on Sunday at the time.
Breakup after Italian getaway
The pair split in June, shortly after a trip to the Dolomites in Italy. Taylor said her job was the underlying cause of the breakup, as Jamie grew jealous. "It was my job. That's what it came down to for him. Me taking selfies would be a problem," she said.
She went on: "He broke up with me over the phone and sent a follow-up text like it was the minutes of a meeting. That was mental. Then we were on and off for a couple of weeks, which was really stressful."
Jamie Bigg responds
Jamie, who lives in Derby, responded on Friday: "Taylor's job was one consideration, but it wasn't the only reason the relationship ended. I had a lot going on personally following my divorce and not being renewed for Gladiators."
"As with any new relationship, you learn what works for you both as time goes on. I have a lot of respect for Taylor and genuinely wish her the best," he added.
