Gemma Collins breaks down in tears in the trailer for her new Sky reality show, revealing that her fiancé Rami Hawash "packed up all of his stuff" and left their home. The TOWIE star, 45, says her "whole world fell apart" as she was hit by a string of heartbreaks while filming the docuseries, Gemma Collins: Everything. All At Once.
"My whole world fell apart"
In the trailer, Gemma is seen leaning her elbow against a table as she says: "I had it all planned out. Marriage, babies - but the minute I started filming this show my whole world fell apart." She is then shown crying while Rami is equally upset, before the shot cuts to an ultrasound, where a doctor tells her: "We've got to be honest - it's not what you want to hear."
A clip also shows Gemma kissing her mum as she says that her mum is ill. The scenes were filmed prior to Gemma's heartbreaking announcement in July that her mum Joan had died aged 70. In June, Joan had been rushed to hospital after contracting pneumonia again and had been unwell for several years.
Rami "packed all his stuff and gone"
In a voiceover, Gemma says: "My relationship's stressful," as tense scenes are shown in a car between herself and Rami. Her fiancé is then seen shouting "Hey, hey, don't give me that, alright!" as she stands nearby looking upset. "He's packed all his stuff and gone," Gemma tearfully says. "I haven't even done anything."
It looks like the couple are long past their spat though, with Gemma tagging Rami in the comments of the trailer with a heart emoji. Earlier this year, the TOWIE star spoke about marrying Rami and starting a family after her tough year. Gemma - who is a doting stepmum to Rami's son Tristan - said: "This really is the most important year of my life, and for the first time people will get to see the Gemma behind the GC.
"Over the next year I will be planning my wedding and beginning the steps into starting a family… I want to let the world see the real raw me sharing the most intimate and personal times in my life."
History with Rami and past relationships
Gemma and businessman Rami first met in 2011, and he proposed in 2013 with a diamond ring hidden inside a Christmas pudding. They sadly split the following year, with Gemma going on to have a rocky on-off romance with her TOWIE co-star James Argent. She called it quits with Arg in 2020, following years of dramatic bust-ups. Opening up about their troubled relationship on Piers Morgan's Life Stories, she said there was a lot of love there, but admitted it "turned very sour" due to Arg's battle with drug addiction.
During breaks from her romance with Arg, Gemma had an ill-fated fling with TOWIE's Charlie King, who later came out as gay, and in 2015 she dated jailbird Stephen Mortimer, who had previously spent time in prison for GBH. After appearing on Celebs Go Dating in 2018, she had a brief romance with car importer Laurence Hearn – before dumping him live on Loose Women. After splitting from Arg once and for all in 2020, Gemma and Rami secretly rekindled their romance, and in February 2024, he popped the question for a second time during a holiday in the Maldives.
