Gemma Atkinson has shared that her fiancé, Gorka Márquez, tends to 'shrink in his chair' when their daughter starts discussing certain topics. The couple opened up about the joys and challenges of parenthood.

Gemma, known for her role as Lisa Hunter in Hollyoaks, met professional dancer Gorka on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017. They now have two children together: Mia and Thiago.
Speaking on the Lost In Translation podcast, Gemma described seeing her children go through different phases as the 'best thing' about being a parent. She recalled watching a 'podgy little thing' that 'can't function at all without you' transform into a toddler with a growing personality.

Gemma said that every day, toddlers ask 'a question that blows your mind'. She noted that Mia and Thiago's personalities are starting to shine, with Mia displaying 'sass' and speaking to them about boys.
