Freddy Brazier, the 21-year-old son of the late Jade Goody, has shared an emotional message to his mother ahead of Mother's Day as he prepares to become a father for the first time. Freddy, who is expecting a baby daughter in April with his on-off partner Holly, revealed that he has been visiting Jade's grave to talk to her about his impending parenthood.
Speaking to The Sun, Freddy said: "I told her what was going on with the baby and how I am feeling, but sometimes I struggle talking to a headstone." He described Mother's Day as a difficult time, adding: "I've often looked at people out with their mums on Mother's Day and thought, 'You're so lucky… I wish I could have a special day with my mum'. But now, I'll be able to make new memories with my baby daughter."
Freddy and Holly recently rekindled their relationship after a split in November, following Holly's discovery that Freddy had been partying with girls and smoking cannabis in her home while she was away. However, Freddy insists the pair are "stronger than ever" and is determined to be the best father to their child. He has moved back into Holly's flat and treated her to a romantic walk with red roses.
Despite the reconciliation, sources close to Holly have expressed concerns about the influence of Freddy's grandmother, Jackiey Budden, describing her as "volatile and very possessive" over Freddy. Freddy, however, defended his relationship, stating: "We are stronger than ever, it's a fresh start for both of us."
Freddy announced his impending fatherhood via a TikTok video, jokingly referring to himself as a "DILF" (Dad I'd Like to F***). In another post, he wrote: "Can't wait to be a Dad. To love my child like I love dogs… I bought him at a very low point in my life and I've been working on myself since I heard I'm going to be a father. I can't wait for this chapter to start, fatherhood is going to be beautiful."
