Former Nickelodeon child star Christy Knowings has died at the age of 46. She was reportedly rushed to hospital after suffering an asthma attack last Friday and was placed on life support. She died in Los Angeles on Tuesday (August 11), according to TMZ.
Family confirms brain damage
Christy's family told the outlet that the asthma attack had left the star with brain damage. Knowings starred alongside child actor Amanda Bynes on the show All That and appeared in episodes of Sesame Street alongside her brother Chris Knowings.
