Former EastEnders star Joshua Pascoe, who played Ben Mitchell, has revealed he now creates adult content. The 31-year-old actor, known for his role as Phil Mitchell's son, has become a top 1% creator on OnlyFans.
From Albert Square to OnlyFans
Pascoe appeared in 159 episodes of the BBC soap before his character was sentenced to four years in prison in 2012. He continued acting until 2021 before moving into construction. He told the Daily Express that watching Olivia Attwood's 2021 docuseries Getting Filthy Rich inspired his career change.
He said: "I saw a young guy selling feet pictures, and I thought 'I could do that, that seems really fun and easy.'" After encouragement from friends and former co-star Daniella Westbrook, he decided to try it.
Success on OnlyFans
Pascoe became a top 1% creator on OnlyFans within the first fortnight. He admitted: "I'll be honest, I've got boundaries, and I won't cross them, I'm not hurting anybody and life's too short," adding: "I'm not as vanilla as I thought."
He believes his role as Ben contributed to his success, saying: "It's a different chapter in my life, so people are intrigued by it. It's quite different, so people are even more intrigued by it."
Weirdest requests
Regarding his "weirdest request," he confessed: "It's the feet thing, I never realised there was such a market for it ... that seems to be the main thing that people enjoy."
He recounted: "I got it a couple of weeks ago, someone messaged me, and they said, 'Could I have some customs ... a couple of feet pictures?' and I was like, 'What, that's it, that's all you want?' and they said, 'Yeah, that'd be brilliant,' and I went, 'Of course I can.'"
Pascoe shared: "It's such a different world to normal life, that it still takes me aback every now and then. Everybody's different, all their kinks are different ... if people like my feet, then I'll oblige."
Future in acting
Despite his success in adult content, Pascoe said "Never say never" regarding an EastEnders comeback. He added: "When I was there, I was a child. It would be nice to experience that as an adult."
He admitted missing acting: "I do miss it. Acting is a bubble, so when you pop that bubble, and you go to the real world, it's really humbling ... Naturally, I missed the fun side to it and being able to do something that I absolutely loved every single day. So, yes, I do miss acting."
He concluded: "I had closed the door on it, but since doing this [adult content] it has reignited something inside me, so I'm not saying I would jump straight back into it, but if something did crop up, it would make me think twice about dipping my toe back into it."
