Days after its release, Enola Holmes 3 has become the number one film on the platform in the UK, despite some criticism. The third instalment follows detective Enola Holmes as she travels to Malta, where personal and professional dreams collide on a treacherous case.
Millie Bobby Brown reprises her role as Enola, with Louis Partridge returning as love interest Tewkesbury. Henry Cavill also stars as Sherlock Holmes.
Fan Reactions to Audition Clip
The chemistry read footage shows a nervous 15-year-old Partridge performing scenes alongside Brown. Fans quickly reacted online. One user said: 'That chemistry was electric from day one. Partridge and Brown Reflect on First Meeting
Speaking about the audition, Partridge admitted: 'I remember being intimidated, but [director] Harry Bradbeer was just being lovely, and Millie was really friendly. It was a bit of a whirlwind, to be honest. I remember exactly where it was, and I remember going with my mom to the audition. It was the first audition where I really thought, “I can actually have fun while I’m doing this.”'
Brown told Tudum: 'I do remember when Louis walked in, I was like, “Oh my gosh, that’s Tewkesbury. That’s him.” He sat down, and he was very nervous, red cheeks, he’d just come from French class, he was still in his school uniform.'
