Emmerdale actress Amelia Flanagan, who plays April Windsor, has revealed she has moved into her first home with her boyfriend, just weeks after celebrating her 18th birthday.

New Home Milestone

In a recent Instagram post, the soap star shared photos showing 'New Home' cards on a windowsill and a house-shaped keyring reading "Our First Home 2026." The couple were seen holding keys outside the property, which appears to be undergoing renovation, as Amelia and friends were pictured getting involved in the transformation.

Amelia captioned the post, which also included holiday snaps and gig photos, with "Been a min, have a dump." Fans flooded the comments with congratulations, with one writing: "Lovely photos. Enjoy your holiday Amelia. Congratulations on your new home."

Amelia has played April Windsor since 2014, when she was just six years old. She is the daughter of Marlon Dingle and the late Donna Windsor. At last year's British Soap Awards, she took home Best Young Performer.

In June, her parents posted a tribute on Instagram for her 18th birthday, writing: "Happy 18th birthday to our wonderful girl. At this exact time 18 years ago you made us into a family. You continue to amaze us with everything you've already achieved. Today's about you our love enjoy every second."
