Emma Bunton has been signed by Global Radio to present two weekly programmes on its Heart network, including drivetime in London.
The former Spice Girl will host a Friday drivetime show on Heart 106.2, the company's flagship London station, and a Saturday afternoon show syndicated across the 24-station Heart network nationwide.
Global has been rolling out the Heart brand in stages this year, with a further nine stations due to adopt the name on 22 June. Bunton has previously guest-hosted on the network and is currently co-presenting the London breakfast show with Harriet Scott while the regular host, Jamie Theakston, is away.
Richard Park, Global Radio's director of broadcasting, said: "Emma reflects what Heart is all about – she's great fun, she's down to earth, and she's a hard-working mum who lives life to the full."
Bunton will present her first Friday drivetime show on 12 June, followed by her Saturday network debut the next day.
