Ella Bright, the star of Amazon Prime Video's hit series Off Campus, has spoken out about fan concerns regarding the nine-year age difference between her and her on-screen love interest, Belmont Cameli.
Addressing the Age Gap
Bright, who was 18 at the start of filming, addressed the issue on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, reassuring fans that she felt completely comfortable and well-informed throughout the production. The British-American actress emphasised that the production team ensured a safe and professional environment.
Role and Series Success
In the series, Bright plays Hannah Wells, a college music major who enters a fake relationship with hockey player Garrett Graham, played by the 28-year-old Cameli. Off Campus has become a massive hit, ranking as Amazon Prime Video's third-most-watched debut series, amassing 36 million viewers within its first 12 days on the platform.
The show received an early renewal in February, although it was confirmed that Josh Heuston, who portrays Hannah's crush Justin Kohl, will not be returning for the next season.
