Comedian Eddie Kadi faced one of his toughest challenges yet during Wednesday's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, taking on the terrifying Scare-ium Bushtucker Trial.
Underwater Chaos in the Scare-ium
Equipped with just a snorkel, Kadi found himself submerged in a tank teeming with eels and toads. His mission was straightforward: unlock a series of chests to secure precious stars for the camp's food supply. However, the trial quickly descended into chaos when the comedian dropped a key into the water, which was also inhabited by snakes and crocodiles.
The situation worsened as Eddie struggled to control his breathing, leading to a full-blown panic. In his flustered state, he dropped a second key, making his task significantly more difficult. The murky, animal-infested waters became a major obstacle in his quest for the stars.
A Hard-Fought Victory and Camp Tensions
Despite the numerous setbacks and what seemed like countless dropped keys, Eddie Kadi demonstrated remarkable perseverance. When the trial concluded, he had managed to secure an impressive six stars for his hungry campmates, though he did drop three keys in the process.
An exhausted Eddie reflected on the ordeal afterwards, explaining, 'Do you know what, I got past the animals, we made friends. But the moment I lost the key that threw me. My breath just went man. It just got tougher.' His confession highlighted the psychological battle of the trial, which proved as challenging as the physical one.
Rice Gate Causes Stir Back at Camp
Meanwhile, back at the camp, a separate drama was unfolding. Campmate Ruby Wax had forgotten to take the rice off the fire, resulting in a burnt meal for everyone. As the camp questioned who was responsible, Ruby confessed to the camera that it was her fault but admitted she was fearful to tell her fellow celebrities.
In a light-hearted moment amidst the tension, a long hair was discovered in the food. Ruby joked, 'We need to take this hair for a DNA test and then we will see who cooked the rice.' The incident, dubbed 'Rice Gate,' provided a humorous counterpoint to the intensity of Eddie's underwater challenge.
