Eamonn Holmes Attends Charity Event With Girlfriend Katie Alexander

Eamonn Holmes, 65, attended a charity event hosted by John Caudwell at his Mayfair mansion on Wednesday, accompanied by his girlfriend Katie Alexander, 43. The former This Morning presenter used a walking aid and wore a white shirt under a navy overcoat, while Alexander dazzled in a floor-length purple gown and a faux fur brown jacket, carrying what appeared to be a black quilted leather Chanel bag.

The outing comes shortly after Holmes made an emotional admission about his health while presenting GB News. Discussing a story about Peter Mandelson urinating in the street, Holmes revealed he sometimes struggles to control his bladder due to his spinal condition, saying: 'I'm getting over a medical condition, and I just can't wait.' He added that finding public toilets can be a dilemma.

Holmes became visibly frustrated when producers cut the segment short, remarking: 'As my producer says in my ear the give away is next. They're obviously not interested in this dilemma or how it relates to me identifying with it.'

Holmes has suffered from severe spinal issues since 2021, leaving him reliant on a wheelchair and carers. He told the Sunday World: 'I have to have carers now looking after me. Somebody dresses me in the morning, somebody undresses me at night, somebody gets my food for me.' He described his ongoing treatment as 'experimental' and called this period 'the toughest stage of my life ever.'
