Dolly Parton's final Instagram post has left fans emotional following the news of her death, announced on Tuesday. The singer, who was 80, made her last appearance on the platform on August 11.
Final Video Message to Fans
In the video, Dolly addressed her followers, saying: "From rags to rhinestones, I've been blessed with a life full of stories, and now I finally get to share them with you all in one place, my Life of Many Colours Museum! It's opening in 2026 at my SongTeller Hotel in Nashville, and it's the biggest exhibit of yours truly that the world has ever seen."
Following the news of her death, which was confirmed by her nephew, Bryan Seaver, fans have returned to the two-week-old post to share their tributes.

In an Instagram video, Dolly's nephew Bryan said: "My name is Bryan Seaver, son of Cassie Parton, and I'm representing the Parton and Owens family today, announcing the passing of my aunt, Dolly Rebecca Parton Dean, Sister, Sis, and Granny to one generation and Gigi to the next."
"This video announcement is something Dolly asked of me years ago, before I fully absorbed it as a future reality," he continued. "As her head of security for more than two decades, a role my father Larry held before me, I have imagined the heaviness of this moment but haven't truly felt it until now."
He added: "It is an honour, an honour that is mixed with absolute pride and great sadness. But sadness lies with us, not with Dolly. Dolly has lived in the light and is in the arms of Jesus, surely met by Carl, her parents, and countless others who have watched her and longed to meet her in the heavens."
