In Barcelona, Spain, a wildfire in the Collserola mountain range sent smoke over the Nou Barris district, forcing some residents to evacuate. In Trishuli Bazar, Nepal, houses in the Nuwakot district were partly submerged in mud after flash floods along a riverside. A tornado in Pomas, France, damaged about 300 homes in the south-western Occitania region.
In New York, US, the Empire State Building was lit up in pink at 9.25pm on Tuesday night to celebrate the life of Dolly Parton, in a nod to her film 9 to 5.
