Disneyland Paris Bans Evil Queen Actor for Speaking to Guests

Disneyland Paris has reportedly banned an actor portraying the Evil Queen after the performer spoke directly to guests about the character's potential removal from the park. The actor, who remained in character, hinted that the Evil Queen and other villains might not appear after the Halloween season ends.

In viral TikTok videos, the actor said, “Are you soaking up all of your time with me before the end of the Halloween season and my imminent retirement back to my dungeon for an undisclosed period of time?” She also urged guests to complain to Disney, saying, “You can all go and cry to the powers that be in this kingdom that don’t rule adequately or fairly.”

Disney has denied the rumours, calling them a “fan site rumour.” A spokesperson told The Independent, “Villains are an important franchise to us and will continue to be available in our theme parks. We are building a whole land on villains at Walt Disney World as part of that expansion.” However, the company did not clarify whether the actor was banned.

Theme park enthusiasts have expressed disappointment on social media, with many filing complaints on Disney's website. One user wrote, “That’s unfortunate because a lot of the evil queens are legendary characters that people visit the park to meet.”
