Todd Meadows, a cast member of the Discovery Channel series Deadliest Catch, has died at the age of 25. The tragic incident occurred during filming on the Bering Sea, according to reports.
Captain Rick Shelford announced the news on social media, describing February 25, 2026 as the most tragic day in the history of the Aleutian Lady. He wrote: 'We lost our brother, Todd Meadows. Todd was the newest member of our crew, he quickly became family.'
Shelford praised Meadows' work ethic and love for fishing, adding that his smile and laughter would be remembered. He asked for prayers for Meadows' children and family, stating: 'Todd will forever be part of this boat, this crew, and this brotherhood.'
A Discovery Channel spokesperson expressed deep sadness, saying: 'This is a devastating loss, and our hearts are with his loved ones, his crewmates, and the entire fishing community.'
