Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell has received support from new contestant Dani Dyer and fellow pro Amy Dowden as she shared a glimpse into her return to work as a first-time mum.
Return to Strictly for 2026 series
Buswell, who is returning for her 10th year on the BBC One dance contest, welcomed her son Bowden with partner Joe Sugg in March. The baby, nicknamed 'Bowie', was born after she announced her pregnancy in September last year, ahead of her return for the 2025 series.
It was later confirmed that she would be back for the 2026 series, which is due to start in September. Rehearsals for the group numbers began at the end of last month.
Sharing her mornings on TikTok
In a recent TikTok clip, Buswell showed how her mornings look before rehearsals, including pumping and storing breast milk and getting dressed for the day. She captioned the post: "Some days I do more some days I do less somedays I get up earlier to fit it all in other days I can sleep in a bit more [heart emoji]. It can be tough juggling being a mum and going back to work but I feel very lucky to be able to do both #strictlycomedancing #mumsoftiktok."
Among those showing support was Dani Dyer, who commented: "Oh Dianne you are doing amazing." Amy Dowden added: "You are amazing!"
Emotional moment in vlog
Buswell also documented her first week back in a YouTube vlog, which included an emotional moment when she spent time with Bowden after her working week and believed he had said 'Mama' to her.
