Taking to Instagram to address her followers alongside an official statement, the 68-year-old presenter expressed gratitude for her time on the panel while opening up about her decision to embrace new dramatic projects full-time.
Long history with the show
Denise first joined the daytime talk show as a guest panellist in 2002 before securing a permanent slot in 2005. She previously took a hiatus in 2013 before returning in 2018, remaining a staple face ever since. Now, after more than two decades associated with the flagship programme, she is bowing out to return to her acting roots.
Farewell from the show
A spokesperson for Loose Women confirmed her departure, saying: "Denise has been such a brilliant part of the Loose Women family and we are going to miss her hugely on the show. We are sending her all of our love and best wishes for her next chapter."
