Dawn O'Porter, the author and television presenter, has announced she is selling 100 items from her personal wardrobe to raise funds for the humanitarian charity Choose Love. The sale, which includes vintage and designer pieces, aims to support refugees and displaced communities worldwide.
Choose Love, co-founded by O'Porter, provides essential aid such as food, shelter, and medical care. The charity has gained support from celebrities including Julia Roberts, James Corden, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Benedict Cumberbatch.
O'Porter has also collaborated with retro clothing brand Joanie on a special jumper, with all proceeds going to Choose Love. The Aphrodite Jumper, available in black and pink, features the charity's slogan and is made from organic cotton.
Famous faces such as Fearne Cotton, Laura Whitmore, and Paloma Faith have already been seen wearing the jumper. O'Porter said: 'It's wonderful to have two of the projects I am most passionate about collide.'
The wardrobe sale and jumper collaboration are part of ongoing efforts to raise funds and awareness for Choose Love's work. Items can be purchased online, with all proceeds directly supporting the charity's initiatives.
