Steph Jones Shares Nostalgic School Photo of Danny Miller
Steph Jones, the wife of Emmerdale actor Danny Miller, has delighted fans by sharing a throwback photograph from their primary school days, long before their romantic relationship began. The couple, who attended the same school and briefly dated as teenagers, eventually married in 2022.
In the image posted on Instagram, Danny is seen dressed for a Year 6 school play. Steph captioned the post: "When the MIL (mother-in-law) comes to visit.. Throwback to Year 6. Your big role in our school play @danny_b_miller" followed by two laughing emojis.
How Their Romance Blossomed
Steph previously revealed the connection: "We obviously went to school together and our sisters have been friends for years and they kept saying you need to get back in touch with Danny." The couple eventually reconnected and tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at Nunsmere Hall Hotel in the Cheshire countryside, surrounded by friends and family.
The wedding guest list included many of Danny's Emmerdale colleagues, with ushers including his former co-star Adam Thomas and Adam's brother, former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas.
Danny Miller Opens Up About Sobriety
The throwback comes after Danny marked a full year of sobriety, during which he praised Steph for her unwavering support. He shared: "I fell down a rabbit hole of drinking. Steph has been an absolute rock throughout it, despite me itching for a drink every now and again, and I'm not an alcoholic by any means."
He added: "This is to better myself for my family, for my career, for my children. Mainly I wanted them to get the best version of me without me being frustrated that they were there and were present when I wasn't during a hangover and it became too much."
Family Adventures and Future Plans
Danny recently posted a picture with Steph and their children on a walk, captioning it: "Collecting moments, not things. Grateful for every mile, every laugh, and every memory made together." On his family Facebook page, he joked: "The Miller Family adventures. Who'd love this as a TV show?" Fans eagerly agreed they would watch.
