Danniella Westbrook to undergo six more surgeries after 'no bone' on face side
Danniella Westbrook faces six more surgeries after bone loss

Danniella Westbrook has disclosed that she will need six additional surgical procedures to fully reconstruct her face. The former EastEnders actress, aged 52, confessed that her body is in such a deteriorated state that one side of her face lacks bone entirely.

Ongoing Surgical Journey

Westbrook has undergone multiple operations in recent months to rebuild her face following years of drug abuse. She now faces six more surgeries over the next 18 months. Speaking to Vanessa Feltz on Channel 5, she stated she has already endured 'umpteen surgeries' and is approaching her sixth procedure.

She explained: 'Five or six will be this Thursday. So it's quite scary. I've had quite a few surgeries to rebuild and refix my face. I think since I got older, the osteoporosis has set in on my bones.'

Bone Reconstruction Details

Westbrook admitted that one side of her face has no bone at all, requiring surgeons to rebuild her bones. Currently, filler is used, but a metal bone replacement is planned. She described the next operation as a 'hair lip reversal' because her lip has pulled upward. The procedure involves cutting a flap from inside her cheek and repositioning it to avoid external scarring.

She added: 'It's another 18 months of surgery after surgery after surgery. About every two and a half, three months I'm in surgery.'

Emotional and Health Struggles

The actress confessed she hates looking in the mirror, even after a recent facelift to realign her face. She said: 'Just to get this nose in a certain position so we can start working on that, not for anything cosmetically beautifying, but no, I still hate looking in the mirror.'

Westbrook's septum collapsed in 1999 due to drug misuse, and she has faced relentless online trolling about her appearance. She also battled sepsis in 2022, adding to her health challenges.
