A reader identified as LAWMAN wrote: "To the Ukraine people, if you try to remove Volodomyr Zelensky, who is honest and committed to the country and people, you will become servants and hostages and slaves of Russia. It will me a big mistake. He has the vote of confidence and support from all NATO countries and, most importantly, the people of those nations and the former defence minister does not."
Another reader, John challenger, commented on world leaders: "putin, trump, all these world leaders have the same major problem, they are all cowards, they haven’t the balls to raise a family and work hard to provide for it, they haven’t the imagination to build a nurturing home and create a flourishing community of other families with the goal to raise the next generation of the human race, and they haven’t the backbone to love that family so completely, they posture like children who have yet to learn what real strength is what true power is, they are spoilt not very bright kids, not worthy of our fear or even our interest, true power comes from creating true strength comes from nurturing loving and protecting."

Maurice, Nottingham, wrote: "So Harry Sussex and wife have decided Great Britain isn’t so bad after all. What no paid for protection for them, they’ve obviously decided the Yanks are fed up with the Royal pretenders and the gravy train has run out. Watch out William. Time will tell."

Bus Passes, Inflation, and Football
Del {Lancs} wrote: "Hope Andy Burnham will support England for bus passes at 60. If not, how about 50 % off train fares."
On inflation, NFFC 4EVA. TET commented: "...inflation up to 2.9% but don’t worry..soon we will be receiving our cut off the electricity bills and this equates to 86p PER WEEK ..."

Jokes and Other Comments
A reader called Motorhead shared a joke: "C, E-flat and G walk into a bar. The barman shows them the door and says: ‘Sorry, we don’t serve minors.’"
Other comments included a request for a picture of singer Norah Jones from kc, Telford, and a lighthearted remark from tony worksop: "breaking news man attacked in a photographic dark room more on this as it develops."
