Brooklyn Beckham spent Christmas with his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham and her parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz, amid an ongoing rift with his own parents, David and Victoria Beckham. The couple shared photos on Instagram in matching red festive pyjamas, with Nicola writing: 'We wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy New Year filled with so much love, peace, and happiness.'
Meanwhile, Victoria and David celebrated with their youngest son, Cruz, sharing videos of him playing guitar and David cutting down a Christmas tree. Reports had claimed the Beckhams unfollowed Brooklyn on Instagram, but Cruz posted on his Instagram Story: 'NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.'
The rumoured rift between Brooklyn and brother Romeo reportedly began in April over Romeo’s then-girlfriend Kim Turnbull, who allegedly briefly dated Brooklyn. Brooklyn and Nicola skipped Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week show in June and David’s birthday celebrations in May, causing tensions. Turnbull and Romeo reportedly split in June.
In August, Brooklyn and Nicola shared photos of their vow renewal ceremony, officiated by Nicola’s father, with the Peltz family present but the Beckhams absent. Brooklyn later told the Daily Mail: 'There’s always going to be people saying negative things, but I have a very supportive wife. Me and her, we just do our thing, we just keep our heads down and work. And we’re happy.'
