Cruz Beckham has responded to trolls criticising his relationship with older girlfriend Jackie Apostel by making a joke at the expense of his mother, Victoria. The 21-year-old musician and his 30-year-old partner have been together for nearly two years, and have faced comments about their nine-year age gap.
In a recent TikTok video, Cruz was seen cooking crepes for Jackie, captioning it: 'She wants crepe, she got em.' A user commented: 'I love when a son cooks for his mum,' prompting Cruz to clap back: 'U think VB is eating a Nutella crepe, no chance daley.' The remark referenced Victoria's famously restricted diet.
David Beckham previously revealed on a podcast that his wife has eaten the same meal of grilled fish and steamed vegetables for 25 years. Victoria has acknowledged having disordered eating habits in the past, but insists she is flexible and enjoys eating out.
A source told OK! magazine that while Victoria is pleased Cruz is happy, she has concerns about the age gap and whether he is ready for the commitment. The source added that Jackie gets on well with the family, but Victoria worries that Cruz, still a teenager, may not be at the same life stage as his 30-year-old girlfriend.
