Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall, 42, has gone public with his new girlfriend, human resources co-ordinator Ellie Dolan, 25. The couple were pictured together for the first time after Halsall posted a photo on Instagram featuring Ellie and his daughter Sienna, captioned with a heart.
Insiders describe the relationship as 'serious', with Ellie having already met Sienna, 11, who Halsall shares with ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson. A source said: 'Alan is really happy. Ellie is a great girl and they have lots in common. And she gets on so well with Sienna, which is so important to Alan.'
The pair are believed to have met at the Marriott Worsley Park golf club, where Halsall is a member and where Ellie works. Halsall, who has played mechanic Tyrone Dobbs on Coronation Street for 26 years, split from co-star Tisha Merry in 2024 after five years together.
Halsall previously spoke about his love life during his stint on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, where he finished sixth. He said: 'I love what I've got, even now I'm on my own I love just being dad. I've never done dating apps.'
