Another added: "Yes I did, beautiful Lady she is." A third chimed in: "Yep, she's looking great!" Echoing their thoughts, another fan posted: "Yep looks good." A fifth commented: "Brilliant actress I noticed it last night."

Glenda's Role on the Cobbles

Since arriving in Weatherfield, she has become a firm favourite, working as a barmaid at The Rovers Return. Glenda has been involved in major storylines, including being robbed at the iconic pub and a short-lived romance with Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell). Jodie's Journey to Corrie

Jodie shot to fame winning the BBC musical talent competition I'd Do Anything in 2008. She joined Coronation Street in 2022 and at the time said: "I know I sound like a soppy sod, but it's been on my bucket list to be in Coronation Street since I was little. It's an honour, it truly is a very special moment in my life. To be part of something my family and I have loved for so long. And what a character, oh I have to say, total dream part. I can't wait for you all to meet fun and sassy Glenda, George Shuttleworth's sister. I love Tony Maudsley already, what a fella! Your first day on the cobbles is one of the most nerve-wracking experiences you'll go though and everyone was just so gloriously lovely, kind and welcoming. It was, and is, everything I expected, and more."

Coronation Street airs Monday to Friday at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
