Meanwhile, show boss Iain MacLeod has promised a fun and comedic Christmas Day episode, centred around Fiz and Tyrone. Speaking at a special event, MacLeod described the episode as 'really moving and lovely' with 'loads of comedy and family fun'.
The episode features Alan Halsall and Jennie McAlpine, who play Tyrone and Fiz, and is expected to be a warm and family-oriented end to the year for the soap.
