Fans of Coronation Street believe that Kit Green will soon begin a shock affair with dodgy car dealer Fiona Morley, following a tense poker night at Speed Daal.
ITV soap viewers will know that Kit (played by Jacob Roberts) has faced some recent turmoil, after he learned that his girlfriend, Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien), was responsible for killing Theo Silverton (James Cartwright). Kit was notably frustrated that Sarah called her ex, Gary Windass (Mikey North), to help her instead of him, and later tried to find evidence to get Gary sent down in Sarah's place.
Sarah Platt's prison ordeal
Sarah is currently spending time in prison as she awaits trial, and it's been far from easy. She notably broke up with Kit to protect his career, shortly before facing threats from a fellow inmate. Kit hasn't taken the break-up well, leading to some friction with Sarah's 10-year-old son, Harry (Joshua Leavy).
During Wednesday's (August 19) episode, which is now streaming on ITVX, Kit learned from his son, Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey), that Idris Nazir (Junade Khan) was hosting a poker night at Speed Daal. Kit later called at the restaurant and persuaded a reluctant Idris to let him take part, with one of the players, Fiona Morley (Sara Poyzer), insisting that they double the stakes.

Corrie viewers will be familiar with Fiona, as she is a dodgy car dealer who was an old flame of Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan). She was also in cahoots with Carl Webster (Jonathan Bailey) earlier this year.
Idris watched intently as the poker game got underway, while Brody secretly knocked back shots behind the bar. One by one the players folded, leaving Fiona and Ollie Driscoll (Raphael Akuwudike) to battle it out. Ollie soon won the game, leaving Fiona fuming, shortly before Brody let slip to Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) that Ollie won using the money she gave Idris.
Fan predictions for a secret romance
While some fans have been speculating that Kit might crack on with Sarah's daughter, Bethany (Lucy Fallon), while she's in prison, others have suggested another possible romance. After noticing some tension during the poker night, a number of soap viewers are convinced that Kit might begin a secret relationship with Fiona.
"Kit and Fiona will sleep together at some point, I can just see it," one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Another added: "Kit, Ollie, what are you doing?! They're messing with fire playing with Fiona," while a third said: "Defo bad news."
