Corrie Fans Predict Dinner Party Twist in Theo Murder

Coronation Street fans have just days to wait until they find out who killed Theo Silverton, with a dramatic dinner party set to expose the truth. But they have made a major prediction about how things will unfold.

The Whodunnit Mystery

A 'whodunnit' has been rumbling on for weeks in the ITV soap following the demise of the abuser back in April. As viewers know, Theo's lifeless body was found by a horrified Betsy Swain on the night of her mum, Lisa Swain's, wedding to Carla Connor.

Flash-forward scenes aired in February transported viewers to April, where Betsy was being interviewed by police after discovering the dead body of someone she knew.

It was then revealed that Theo, Carl Webster, Jodie Ramsey, Megan Walsh and Maggie Driscoll were potential victims, with the weeks that followed showing how their behaviours could put them in mortal peril.

It wasn't until a week after the wedding actually took place on April 23, and aired on-screen, that Betsy was seen discovering Theo dead, and DC Lisa Connor-Swain and DC Kit Green have been trying to track down his killer ever since.

The Suspects

Corrie previously confirmed Todd Grimshaw, George Shuttleworth, Summer Spellman, Christina Boyd, Gary Windass and Danielle Silverton as the six potential suspects.

But now, viewers have been invited to a dinner party with a difference on the cobbles next week when home truths are served, and the tea is most definitely spilt. By the end of the evening, viewers will learn who killed Theo, as a series of flashbacks revisit the fateful April night when his body was found.

The Dinner Party Drama

The hour-long episode will air on Monday, June 22, where secrets and lies are exposed, and the mystery of Theo's murder is finally solved.

Sharing more details as to what fans can expect, earlier in the day, Kit Green discovers that Sarah Platt has invited Todd and Summer round for dinner, and decides to add Maria and Gary Windass to the guest list. As Corrie fans know, Sarah and Gary have been hiding something for weeks, with Maria suspecting the former couple are having an affair.

But the dinner party descends into chaos, with a broken glass, an overturned chair and angry accusations thrown. Maria Connor seizes an opportunity to turn up the heat on hubby, Gary, when she accuses Sarah and Gary of having an affair.

Fan Predictions

Sticking, however, with the killer reveal, many Corrie fans remain convinced that the one responsible for Theo's death won't actually be sitting around the table that night.

@Audz32129841 said: "The dinner party on Monday reveals the killer but I bet its not one of them #corrie." @sam_Fletcher78 replied: "Still think it's no one at the table… going with Glenda." @J_WBerry commented: "I'm still putting my money on Theo killed himself to frame Todd for his murder. Locking in."

@leahp1976 shared: "It's a total red herring. Something will be revealed but the killer will be found by DS Connor-Swain." @C70268211 added: "I don't trust #corrie not to add something in, and I have been terrible with predictions, but imagine if the flashback of Todd is him just hiding, scared and alone? I'm looking forward to the dinner drama, but I am also waiting in anticipation of Todd/George scenes later on."
