Coronation Street's Tina O'Brien poses in bikini after difficult year

Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has shared a series of sun-soaked holiday snaps, including a picture of herself in a tiny yellow bikini, as she steps into the new year with a message of gratitude following a profoundly difficult period.

A Year of Personal Heartbreak

The actress, best known for playing Sarah Platt on the ITV soap, faced a double blow towards the end of 2025. In November, she announced the devastating loss of her father, telling her Instagram followers her heart was "very heavy" but that she was grateful he was "no longer suffering".

Just prior to that, her romance with millionaire interior designer Adam Fadlé, 38, came to an end. The pair had gone public with their relationship in the summer of 2025, but sources indicated Tina ended things after deciding the relationship "wasn't going anywhere".

Embracing a Fresh Start with Family

Posting a carousel of images from the final weeks of the year, the 42-year-old showcased moments of joy amidst the hardship. The photos included festive outings to Christmas light displays and a charming selfie with her 17-year-old daughter, Scarlett, whose father is fellow Corrie actor Ryan Thomas.

The collection culminated in a relaxed poolside image where Tina flaunted her super-toned figure in a bright yellow bikini, enjoying a cool drink on a sunny getaway.

She captioned the post: "The last weeks of 2025. Family, friends, and a whole lot of love. Stepping into the new year feeling grateful."

Moving Forward After Relationship Split

Tina's split from Adam Fadlé reportedly left him "stunned", as he believed their relationship had real potential. Friends told The Daily Mail that Tina delivered a frank assessment, not wanting to invest energy into something "that was never going to last".

The actress made the breakup clear by removing all traces of their relationship from her Instagram account. This split came just months after the finalisation of her seven-year marriage to ex-husband Adam Crofts, which reportedly ended over Christmas in 2024.

Despite the challenges, Tina's New Year's post struck a resilient and hopeful tone, focusing on the love and support from her inner circle as she looks ahead to 2026.
