Monday, June 15 – Double Episode

When Kevin tells Carl he can whistle for a work reference as he hunts for a legitimate job, Carl receives a call from Fiona Morley offering some dodgy jobs. When Kevin sees the video of Carl attempting to mess with the brakes on his car, he rushes to confront him, but things get worse when Tyrone and Ronnie try to calm things but reveal they knew what Carl had done. As things reach a fever pitch, Kevin arms himself with a wrench, while Carl retrieves a package he collected from Fiona and pulls out a gun.

As Nick waits on pins for information about Sam, he turns his raw emotion on Ben and Eva and lays into them over bringing Megan Walsh into Sam's life. Eva is forced to reassure Ben that, with or without Sam, Will Driscoll can handle the pressure of the trial. Ronnie's plan comes to fruition as Sally, Glenda, and Christina assemble with their suitcases. As the group suffer hangovers the next day, Christina insists that all phones are turned off.

Meanwhile, Maria catches Gary hugging Sarah, with him insisting they delete all messages between them. Her suspicions rise, and she turns to Fiz Dobbs and Izzy Armstrong with her concerns. Betsy, Brody, and Dylan Wilson head to the precinct with some cans after being refused service at the Rovers, where they are approached by some thugs demanding they hand over their beer. After ordering Dylan and Betsy to flee, Brody takes the heat on himself, drawing the thugs to chase him in the other direction.

Tuesday, June 16 – Double Episode

Kit lets Bethany in on a secret: he is planning to propose to Bethany Platt, though he is unsure of what her reaction will be. When Harry Platt lovingly tells Kit that he likes having him around, an emotional Kit tells him he feels exactly the same. Kevin takes the gun, believing it to be fake, and aims it at Carl, before Ronnie tries to wrestle it from him, but the gun goes off, leaving everybody horrified. Later, Debbie overhears Carl being threatened by Fiona to complete a job or suffer the consequences and demands to know what he has gotten himself into.

Betsy tells Lauren Bolton that she has been offered a place at the London College of Fashion but is terrified at the prospect of leaving Dylan behind and that she has yet to tell her mum, Lisa Connor-Swain, of the news. Elsewhere, Nick is broken to realise how unwell Sam is and lays into Ben again. Debbie, Sally, Bernie, Glenda, and Christina intercept Brody's chase and send the thugs packing with their tails firmly tucked between their legs. Dev Alahan and Tim Metcalfe worry over the radio silence from their wives. Todd Grimshaw tells Sarah that Maria is convinced she is having an affair with Gary, while Maria tells Gary they need to talk and he nervously suggests a curry later.
