Former Coronation Street star Charlotte Jordan has surprised fans with a dramatic hair transformation, trading her long locks for a chic bob. The actress, best known for playing barmaid Daisy Midgeley, shared a series of stylish snaps on Instagram this week, wearing a black jacket and leopard print trousers.
Jordan captioned the post with a playful query: “Firstly — are we all agreed leopard print is a neutral? And secondly…..am I keeping or growing out the bob? I change my mind approx every three working days...” Fans and former co-stars were quick to comment, with one admirer writing, “I feel like you could rock literally any hairstyle you put your mind to tbf... the bob is so cuuuute but I do miss the long hair.”
Sally Ann Matthews, who plays Jenny Connor on the ITV soap, replied: “Cuuuuute X.” Jack P Shepherd, known for his role as David Platt, joked: “It’s growing on ya.” Another fan declared: “The bob looks lovely and so will long hair, you suit everything.”
Charlotte Jordan joined Coronation Street in 2020 as Daisy Midgeley, stepdaughter of Jenny Connor, and quickly became a favourite with viewers. Her storylines included a harrowing acid attack and shock affairs. In January 2025, she announced her decision to leave the soap, and Daisy made her explosive exit in May.
Since leaving Weatherfield, Jordan has joined the radio soap The Archers and is set to appear in a new BBC period drama, The Hairdresser Mysteries, alongside Sally Phillips and Charlotte Hope. Reflecting on her departure, she said: “I’m feeling really grateful for my years on the show and the people I’ve gotten to work with. Producer Kate [Brooks] has been so supportive about me wanting to go back out into the audition circuit and very generous with Daisy’s exit story.”
