Coronation Street fans think they have rumbled a concerning problem for Todd Grimshaw after spotting worrying signs following his return to Weatherfield.
As those who follow the ITV soap, which is filmed in Salford, know, the undertaker recently headed to Thailand for a much-needed break with Summer Spellman following their recent ordeal.
Todd's Abuse and Theo's Death
Back in April, Todd's abuse at the hands of his partner, Theo Silverton, came to a shocking end as, after trying to target Todd one last time after he reported him to the police following his most violent attack to date, Theo was found dead by horrified neighbour, Betsy Swain.
Meanwhile, Summer also found herself caught in the crossfire when she came face-to-face with a sinister Theo, who forced her to hand over her phone, which he then chucked out of the window. Viewers didn't see any more of their confrontation before; soon, a jovial Betsy was given the shock of her life as she stumbled across the villain's lifeless body outside.
It came after Theo was confirmed as one of the possible victims of the murder plot, alongside Carl Webster, Jodie Ramsey, Megan Walsh and Maggie Driscoll, following a flashforward episode of Corrie back in February, confirming the shocking death would take place on the night of Lisa Swain and Carla Connor's wedding.
Sarah's Confession and Arrest
A 'whodunnit' having quickly got underway, Summer found herself briefly behind bars, accused of Theo's murder. She was eventually released after Tyrone Dobbs came clean about seeing her on the night of Theo's death, while in scenes aired to viewers in June, it was revealed that it was actually Sarah Platt who killed the dastardly builder.
She appeared to deal the blow that sent a drunk Theo tumbling off the scaffolding outside his flat and plummeting to the ground - before she called on her former flame, Gary Windass, for help.
As Todd struggled in the aftermath of his abusive husband's murder, Sarah ended up confessing the truth of her crime to her best friend, while her partner, DC Kit Green, found out when she admitted to killing Theo as he was trying to pop the question. It led Todd to end their friendship.
Meanwhile, despite Kit's attempts to help cover up her crime, Sarah was arrested on suspicion of killing Theo and while, at first, she pleaded her innocence, the evidence was stacked against her and DS Lisa Connor-Swain said she had no choice but to charge Sarah with Theo's murder.
Fan Concerns Over Todd's Drinking
But following a break in Thailand, Todd has appeared to have made amends with Sarah, but it's been noted by Corrie viewers that things don't seem quite right with Todd, as he turns to drinking to cope with his recent turmoil.
