Singer Conor Maynard has confirmed he is not the father of Charlotte Chilton's baby, following a DNA test. The 31-year-old musician took to Instagram Stories to announce the results, putting an end to months of speculation.
Maynard stated that he underwent a paternity test earlier this week in the presence of Chilton's legal representative. The results, received today, confirm he is not the biological father of Penelope, Chilton's daughter. He expressed relief that the speculation could finally be laid to rest.
In his statement, Maynard urged kindness, noting that a child is at the heart of the matter. He wished Chilton and her family well. The singer had briefly dated Chilton after meeting her at a club on the night of the final of The Traitors.
Charlotte Chilton, a recruitment manager from Warwickshire, appeared on the BBC show and previously claimed Maynard was the father of her unborn child. She gave birth to Penelope in October 2024 and has since shared updates on her daughter's well-being.
