Coleen Rooney was the picture of relaxation this Sunday, showcasing her enviable physique while soaking up the sun on a luxury yacht. The annual family trip to Barbados is in full swing for the Rooney clan, with the I'm A Celebrity star taking centre stage.
Sun, Sea, and Star Style
The 39-year-old television personality looked absolutely stunning in a strapless leopard print bikini. The chic two-piece featured low-slung bottoms as Coleen enjoyed refreshing drinks and shared laughs aboard the swanky vessel. She appeared completely at ease, basking in the Caribbean sunshine during the relaxing daytime excursion.
This was very much a family affair. Joining Coleen was her husband, the legendary former footballer Wayne Rooney, 40, and their four sons: Kai, 16, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, and Cass, six. The couple's parents, Colette and Tony, were also present to enjoy the lavish holiday. Adding to the party were some familiar faces from Wayne's playing days: retired footballers and his ex-teammates Jonny Evans, Michael Carrick, and Darren Gibson.
A Multi-Million Pound Island Retreat
The Rooneys are no strangers to the idyllic island of Barbados. In fact, they are frequent visitors who have invested heavily in a permanent slice of paradise. The family owns a spectacular £5million five-bedroom villa on the island, which they purchased back in 2010.
The luxurious property is designed for ultimate comfort and entertainment, boasting an infinity pool complete with a link bridge. With space to sleep up to 14 people, it's the perfect base for their large family gatherings and visits from friends. When the Rooneys are not in residence, they rent out the holiday home to other visitors seeking a top-tier Barbados experience.
From Caribbean Sun to Cheshire Lights
This tropical break follows recent reports of the couple's extravagant festive display back home in the UK. The Rooneys reportedly spent tens of thousands of pounds on Christmas lights at their £20,000,000 Cheshire mansion, known as High Lake Manor.
The former Manchester United star and his wife moved into the sprawling mansion in the region's famous 'Golden Triangle' three and a half years ago. For the festive season, they seemingly enlisted professionals to adorn the vast property with bright lights lining the roof, porch, wreaths, trees, and hedges. The display was said to be so intense that it could be seen from aircraft approaching Manchester Airport.
Back in Barbados, Wayne opted for a more covered look, shielding himself from the sizzling Bajan sun with a cap and a polo shirt. The contrast between the sunny, carefree yacht day and their opulent life in Cheshire highlights the Rooneys' jet-set lifestyle, seamlessly blending family time with the trappings of their considerable success and fame.
