Loose Women star Coleen Nolan has announced she is set to become a grandmother for the second time, as her son Jake and his partner Georgia are expecting a baby boy. The 59-year-old revealed the news in her latest newsletter for the Mirror, describing it as the 'cherry on the cake' after a week of family celebrations.
Coleen, who shares sons Shane, 35, and Jake, 31, with ex-husband Shane Richie, said the gender reveal took place at her home on Saturday. 'Just as I said, 'I think it's a boy', Jake let off the confetti gun and turned the living room blue,' she wrote. 'I couldn't be more thrilled about having a grandson.'
The baby is due at the end of the year. Coleen also has a daughter, Ciara, 24, from her second marriage to Ray Fensome. Ciara recently returned early from her travels with fiancé Max, who proposed in Vietnam in April. Coleen said she was 'so delighted' about the engagement.
Reflecting on the past week, Coleen said: 'Well, what an incredible week it's been for family celebrations.' She added that her partner Michael helped orchestrate Ciara's surprise homecoming, making her get up early to let the ducks out before Ciara walked through the garden gates.
