Former rugby star Danny Cipriani, 37, and actress AnnaLynne McCord, 37, have ended their nine-month relationship, with both unfollowing each other on Instagram. The couple, who met on the celebrity dating app Raya, had described their romance as 'turbulent'.
A source told Mail Online that Cipriani's ongoing divorce from his wife Victoria was a factor in the split. 'Danny is going through a very difficult divorce and wasn't able to give AnnaLynne everything she needed,' the source said. The pair have been spending time in different countries since the breakup, with Cipriani remaining in the UK over Christmas and New Year.
Cipriani's ex-wife Victoria, 42, from whom he separated in November 2023, said his high-profile relationship with McCord left her 'heartbroken' and 'humiliated'. She told The Sun on Sunday that she ended their marriage after finding 'inappropriate' messages on his phone. 'They weren't sexts but they were telling women they were beautiful,' she said.
When Cipriani first went public with McCord, he described her as his 'miracle' in an Instagram post. The couple had travelled together, including a trip to Egypt. However, by 21 December, Cipriani had unfollowed McCord on Instagram, signalling trouble. A source confirmed the relationship had been 'on the rocks for weeks'.
