Christine McGuinness has revealed she would 'love to have a wife one day' as she opened up about her romantic life following her split from husband Paddy. The former model, who completed her divorce in 2024 after 11 years of marriage, spoke candidly on the podcast It Started With A Kiss.
She described her co-parenting arrangement with Paddy as 'ideal' for now, as she does not want to bring someone into her personal life 'too quick'. Christine, who shares three autistic children with the BBC Radio 2 star, enjoys a 'double life' - living with her family in their £2.5million home while travelling to London for work and fun.
The TV star said she has been upfront with the women she dates about her situation, telling them her view would not 'change anytime soon'. She added: 'As much as I would love to have a wife one day, not like a legalised marriage, but like a blessing, like a celebration of love... I'd love to just be saying this is my wife.'
Christine revealed she and Paddy remain close, with her sometimes showing him photos of women she finds attractive to ask his opinion. She noted her partners have originated from sport, music, and acting, and that she is 'trying to enjoy now'. She also shared that she does not want more children or another marriage, saying it has cost her a 'fortune' and she has 'probably aged about 10 years'.
