An episode of Celebrity Juice was so rude that it had to be dramatically cut from a full broadcast. The programme, which aired between 2008 and 2022, saw host Keith Lemon (Leigh Francis) make lewd innuendos about his team captains Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby and their guests, who would also take part in provocative games and challenges.
Jordan Stephens' drunken antics
Former star on the show Jordan Stephens has revealed he once got so drunk during filming that he had a nasty clash with Fearne. The episode, which aired on September 5, 2013, had to be cut right down due to Jordan's antics, which included throwing a fish at American singer Jason Derulo.
"I got so drunk that they actually cut out the last five minutes of the show," Rizzle Kicks star Jordan said about his appearance. Speaking to his pal Miquita Oliver on their Miss Me? podcast, he revealed that the segment of the show wasn't televised as it was "that bad."
Fearne Cotton's reaction
He went on to add: "In fact, it was so bad that Fearne Cotton, renowned for being, you know, lovely, turned around to me and said, 'Jordan, shut the f**k up.'"
Jordan went on to share an insight into the filming of the show, saying: "Halfway through, they gave me more beer in the second half of the show, and the beer I drank in the first half of the show hit me, and I ended up throwing a fish at Jason Derulo! I went behind Keith's desk and stole the script to the show, and then started answering—hitting the buzzer in the quick-fire answers every five seconds, and then saying the answer."
Chaos on set
But things went from bad to worse for Jordan, as the floor manager of the studio was forced to intervene amidst the chaos. He revealed: "The floor manager had to come over and fight the script off me, and then I got booed by the crowd! And, uh, yeah, it got cut out. And also, afterwards, I begged Jason Derulo to put me in his dance team."
Jordan, over the years, has been extremely open about his struggles with alcohol and substances and later revealed that he once consumed cocaine while his mic was turned on. "I was a mess," he said, explaining that when it came to writing his memoir, reliving his past experiences was like the "Wild Wild West."
He said: "Pre-social media, pre-like f***ing Insta stories and f***ing whatever, you were just doing madness, bro. I was back there, I took Jason Derulo's number and s**t, asked if I could dance in his dance troupe. What the f**k was going on? I was off my t**s!"
The admission came after Jordan responded to a social media user who claimed that he always seemed to "whinge" online. He said: "A woman called Hannah just left a comment on my last video, saying: 'All you do is whinge. Why don't you just enjoy life?'"
He scoffed and then turned very serious, ranting to the camera: "Well, I mean, Hannah, why don't you shut up? Why don't you shut up? I do enjoy life, that's the plot twist, and I enjoy complaining, that's my main thing. Why don't you enjoy your life? Where do you live? Not in a threatening way, I'm intrigued as to how you have that outlook with the current settings. Anyway, I'm going to go to the woods."
