Cat Deeley steps out without wedding ring after Patrick Kielty split

Cat Deeley was seen without her wedding ring as she stepped out in London this week, following the announcement of her separation from husband Patrick Kielty. The television presenter, 48, kept a low profile while running errands near the couple's former marital home.

She wore a white shirt paired with high-waisted blue denim flares, tan sandals and a brown faux leather tote bag, accessorising with gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses. Her appearance comes just weeks after the pair revealed their decision to end their 13-year marriage.

In a joint statement issued on 29 July, Cat and Patrick said: “We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved. We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment.”

The couple, who share sons Milo and James, have spent time apart since the announcement, with Cat reportedly enjoying a break in Sitges, Spain, with her hairdresser friend Ben Skervin. She is expected to return to her presenting duties on This Morning on 1 September, after having taken her summer break from the ITV show.

Cat and Patrick first met while hosting BBC's Fame Academy in 2002 and married in Rome in 2012. Reports have suggested that their demanding work schedules, including Patrick's weekly trips to Dublin for The Late Late Show, put strain on their relationship.
