Cara Delevingne faced an awkward moment at Paris Fashion Week when she was briefly held up outside Stella McCartney’s runway show after not being recognised by security.
The 33-year-old supermodel attempted to make her way inside Tuesday’s show but found herself stuck in line with other attendees. In footage obtained by Daily Mail, she eventually edged towards the front, telling the crowd: “Ok, I’m just going to walk in, it’s getting crazy.”
When asked for a QR code by the ticket inspector, one of Delevingne’s team clarified she didn’t have one. Eventually, Delevingne lifted her sunglasses to reveal her face and asked: “Can I go in?” The guard quickly apologised, saying: “Oh, sorry, yes go in,” before letting her through.
She was later seen queuing again, this time in the guests’ line, where she waited patiently before being seated next to Dame Helen Mirren on the front row. The star joined a host of big names at the show, including Paris Jackson, Jenna Coleman, Woody Harrelson and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Stella McCartney unveiled her Spring/Summer 2026 collection during her latest show in the French capital. Over the past two years, Delevingne’s career has soared with major fashion campaigns and a string of glamorous red-carpet appearances.
