Jeremy Boreing Opens Up About Daily Wire Exit, Ben Shapiro and Hollywood Ambitions

Jeremy Boreing, co-founder of The Daily Wire, has given his first interview since leaving the company almost a year ago. In a conversation with Deadline, Boreing discussed his decade at the conservative media outlet, public disputes, and his focus on film and television production, including the launch of Arthurian epic The Pendragon Cycle: Rise Of The Merlin.

Boreing's sudden exit in March 2025 sparked speculation about a rift with co-founder Ben Shapiro, though Shapiro downplayed such claims. Boreing said his departure was driven by a desire to spend more time on film and TV projects. He described building 'the conservative answer to A24' as his goal.

Reflecting on his early days in Los Angeles, Boreing recalled feeling comfortable with his political views despite being in a liberal industry. He noted that a Bush-Cheney bumper sticker on his truck once prompted an actress to call him 'balls of steel' for his openness.

Boreing co-founded The Daily Wire in 2015 with Shapiro and Caleb Robinson. The company grew rapidly, valued at over $1 billion in 2023, thanks to subscription packages, popular podcasts, and a film division. Boreing's producing credits include the feature drama Spiral.
