Cameron Diaz, 53, and her husband Benji Madden, 47, have welcomed their third child, a son named Nautas Madden. The Good Charlotte rocker announced the news on Instagram on Monday, sharing an image of a ship as a nod to the nautical name.
In his post, Benji wrote: 'Cameron and I are Happy, Excited, and feeling so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third Child, Nautas Madden.' He also included the meaning behind the name: 'Sailor, navigator, voyager. One who embarks on a journey and fears not the unknown.' Diaz replied in the comments with five heart emojis.
The couple, who married in 2015, are already parents to daughter Raddix, six, and son Cardinal, two. They have largely kept their family life private, only occasionally sharing updates with fans.
The news comes just over a year after Diaz made her Hollywood comeback in Netflix's 'Back in Action'. The actress took a decade-long hiatus from acting in 2014, a period she has described as the 'best' of her life. She said on 'The Graham Norton Show' last year: 'I was just free to just say, “I’m a mom, I’m a wife, I’m living my life.”'
Diaz currently stars in Jonah Hill's new film 'Outcome' alongside Keanu Reeves, and is set to reprise her role as Princess Fiona in 'Shrek 5', scheduled for release in 2027.
